Anna Paquin Opens Up About First-Time Pregnancy

Anna Paquin's hands are going to be very full in the next few months!

The 29-year-old actress and hubby/True Blood costar Stephen Moyer are expecting -- and, as Us Weekly revealed exclusively on Wednesday, it's twins!

The resolutely private star opened up a tiny bit about her impending motherhood in the July issue of Redbook.

What kind of mom will the Oscar winner be? "I have a side that’s very nesty," Paquin tell the magazine, "and another that thinks, 'Let's lock up the house and go away for five months.'"

Paquin has been flaunting a growing bump for several months, and admits to Redbook that she's often hard on herself over her appearance and public image. "I'm my harshest critic," she says. "But at a certain point, you need to embrace who you are and the whole package that comes along with it. For me, it was cutting myself some slack and not trying to be something that I think is perfect or ideal."

(After an insider confirmed that Paquin and husband of nearly two years Moyer, 42, are expecting twins, their True Blood cohort Sam Trammel told Us, "I'm so excited for them!" The actor, also father to young twins, joked, "We sent them a special gift. It's so interesting that True Blood has become, like, the 'twins' show.")

Another thing Paquin tries not to sweat? Her sex scenes with Alexander Skarsgaard. "We feel completely comfortable together," she says. "Steve [Moyer] and Alex are buddies. It's nothing like, Oh, hi, nice to meet you. Now let's take off our clothes and go into the fog.' Everyone is very respectful of each other’s boundaries . . . They're all very gentlemanly about it."
