Another glowing probation report for Chris Brown

The Associated Press, Thursday, November 18, 2010, 4:36pm (PST)

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- A judge has commended Chris Brown for working hard to complete his probation for last year's attack on then-girlfriend Rihanna.

The R&B star appeared in a Los Angeles courtroom Thursday to update the judge overseeing his assault case.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Patricia Schnegg says no one has worked harder than Brown to complete the terms of his sentence. She says he has completed roughly 73 of 180 days of community service and is almost finished with his required domestic violence counseling.

Brown is on five years of probation after pleading guilty last year to assaulting Rihanna in a rented sports car after a pre-Grammy Awards party.

Schnegg is requiring Brown to perform physical labor, but has allowed him to work in his home state of Virginia.
