Ashley Greene is single and ready to mingle!

Ten months after the Twilight star and Broadway actor Reeve Carney took their romance public, the couple has called it quits, sources confirm to Us Weekly.

"They are over," an insider explains of Greene, 25, and Carney, 29, who appears as Spider-Man on Broadway. "Reeve seems to be fine and it was just crazy with their schedules."

Indeed, a second source confirms Greene's hectic Twilight press schedule and other projects took her away from her temporary home base in New York City, where Carney stages Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark. "She knows this is a pivotal time in her career," adds the source, who doesn't rule out a reconciliation between the stars. "I wouldn't say I could never see them getting back together but right now they are doing their own thing."

In the November issue of Marie Claire magazine, Greene -- whose exes include Joe Jonas and Kings of Leon bassist Jared Followill -- admitted she found it hard to make her love life a priority.

"I've gotten very good at detaching whenever I have to go away for three months, which I realize is hard on friends and kind of selfish," she told the magazine. "You go on a couple of dates, and then someone ships off to do a movie. It's not like you're going to fly out and see them, because it's not serious enough for that."
