Behind the Scenes of Us Weekly's Makeup Shoot With Sarah Hyland

If you're like me and can't get enough of adorable and hilarious Sarah Hyland, this blog post's for you! Hopefully by now you've seen our awesome Makeovers Issue, in which Hyland, 20, models three hot hair looks just right for spring. The day was super fun and I can report that Hyland is as cool, funny and down to earth as you'd imagine. She also is astonishingly beautiful, and has big, fabulous features that look amazing in myriad makeup looks.

The Modern Family star's long time makeup artist, Allan Avendaño (who incidentally is as adorable and fun as the celeb he beautifies!), shared the look he created for our shoot. This is the only place you'll see these details spilled! Here goes:

"Since this side ponytail is fun and playful, I decided to play up eyes with a pop of color," Avendaño tells UsMagazine.com. "Sarah loves purple, so we gave her bold purple smoky eyes with pink cheeks and a sheer violet tinted gloss. I used makeup by Lancome to create the look."
