Bethenny Frankel on Ugly Jason Hoppy Divorce: I'm Trying to "Move Forward"

When the going gets tough, Bethenny Frankel gets going. The Skinnygirl mogul and star of Bethenny Ever After may be going through a rough divorce and custody battle with ex Jason Hoppy, but the entrepreneur has been keeping busy.

On Friday, Feb. 8, Frankel appeared on Good Morning America to introduce five of her favorite to-go Skinnygirl snacks, and when asked about how she's been holding up amid the divorce, she was resolute.

"Listen, it's a struggle, and like any struggle, you push through it and move forward," the 42-year-old TV personality said.

In a recent interview with Extra's AJ Calloway, Frankel expressed similar sentiments, copping to feeling both "good and terrible" at the same time about the split.

"I'm going through something very difficult," she told the talk show host. "And you know what? Every dark cloud has a silver lining. I do have a beautiful daughter [Bryn, 2] and I have a lot of things to be thankful and grateful for."

Frankel and ex Hoppy, a 41-year-old pharmaceutical sales executive, originally announced their split in December. The pair, who wed in an elaborate wedding at the Four Season hotel in New York City on March 28, 2010, have been at odds ever since, each filing their own list of demands.

"Bethenny thought she could just roll him over and get out with no hassle," a Hoppy pal told Us Weekly. "Jason is livid with how cold Bethenny has been with him since the split. He wants to make her pay."

Both Frankel and Hoppy are requesting child support and primary custody of Bryn, whom a Frankel insider tells Us is "doing great."

"They view it as Bryn's apartment," another source explained of the 3,400-square-foot Tribeca loft they still share. "But they're not having family dinners together."
