Brad Pitt: "I Kind of Liked" My Spoofed Chanel Ad
Brad Pitt is laughing about those Chanel ads, too -- all the way to the bank.
When asked about the Saturday Night Live parody of his buzzed-about black-and-white commercials -- in which a goateed Pitt, 48, mumbles quasi-zen sentiments like "The world turns and we turn with it" -- the actor recently told Access Hollywood that people should feel free to say what they want about them.
"I've been overseas, so I've been blissfully protected [from the criticism]," Pitt said of the parody starring SNL's Taran Killam. "I haven't [seen the parodies], but I say absolutely fair play, fair play."
For his part, the Oscar-nominated star says he thinks his Chanel No. 5 campaign ads are well done.
"I kind of liked it . . . I respect what they do," he shared. "They do some really quality things."@usweekly on Twitter | usweekly on Facebook
Though official figures haven't been confirmed, Angelina Jolie's fiance will reportedly earn $7 million for his Chanel-shilling duties. He is the first-ever male face for the iconic French fashion house's signature fragrance.
