Casually clad in a tank top and sunglasses, the Academy Award winner, 37, looked radiant as ever while eating lunch with her son Jackson, 12 months, at Beluga at Green Point Nov. 23. The mother-son duo were joined by Theron's mom, Gerda Maritz.
"I'm very excited about it," the actress told Us Weekly while promoting Prometheus in London earlier this year. "The original Mad Max created such a vivid world, so to go back and re-imagine and re-play in that sandbox sounds like fun to me. It's a really challenging piece of material."
Mad Max 4: Fury Road also stars Tom Hardy, Nicholas Hoult, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Zoe Kravitz and Riley Keough. The first film in the franchise, 1979's Max Max, made Mel Gibson a household name. The actor will not be appearing in the latest installment.
