Denise Richards makes being a working mom look easy. Looking slender in a maroon mini-dress, the 42-year-old actress and mother of three looked radiant on her way to work May 22. Denise was filming two scenes in the L.A. area for her new ABC Family show, Twisted, in addition to doing a press junket.
The single star, who is temporarily taking care of Charlie Sheen's twin sons Bob and Max, revealed how she manages her busy schedule when she attended the Adopt-a-Doll event in L.A. May 18. "I'm on an ensemble show so, I'm not in every scene," Denise told Us Weekly. "I have days off and I go in for a couple of hours and shoot one or two scenes, so that's great for a working parent."
She added, "You just figure it out because you don't have a choice. You have these children depending on you. You prioritize. I had children because I want to be apparent and I want to be there for them, and the time goes by quickly." (Bob and Max's mom, Sheen's third ex-wife Brooke Mueller, is currently in rehab. This is her 20th time seeking treatment.)
The actress also gave her dad Irv Richards props, as he often looks after Sam, 9, Lola, 7, and Eloise, 22 months. "I'm very lucky that I can count on him when I have to leave town for a day or so," Denise told Us. "I think it's important to have grandparents be close to the children."
