Billboard -- Dizzee Rascal has offered his fans a late Christmas gift with "The Mixtape Vol. 2," a free collection of new tunes posted online at midnight in the U.K. on Tuesday (Dec. 25). The tape follows a 25-track offering released on New Year's Day 2011. The British MC also posted a special message to his fans when the tape was released:
"The Mixtape Vol. 2" is mixed by DJ MK and feature contributions from Bun B, Merky Ace and P Money, among others. The tape also includes the track "Bassline Junkie," and Dizzee Rascal confirmed on Twitter that a video for that track will be released on New Year's Day. The 28-year-old hip-hop veteran has been hard at work on his fifth studio album, which follows 2009's "Tongue 'n Cheek." In 2012 Dizzee Rascal performed at the Opening Ceremony of the London 2012 Olympic Games, and was featured on "Here 2 China," a track from Calvin Harris' album "18 Months."
