Donald Faison on His Baby With Wife Cacee Cobb: "It'll Be a Really Good Human Being When It's Older"

That's amour! It's hardly been more than a week since Jessica Simpson's BFF Cacee Cobb announced her pregnancy via Facebook, but husband Donald Faison can hardly contain his excitement about their bundle of joy now that the news is out, he tells Us Weekly.

"I'm excited. I'm just excited for CaCee," the proud papa-to-be, 38, told Us at the launch of EA's Real Racing 3 on Thursday, Feb. 7. "She's probably the most loving person I've ever met in my life. And so for her to have a baby that she can love and you know, raise, and that we can raise together, and she can influence and teach and stuff like that, it just, I know that it'll be a really good human being when it's older."

Faison and Cobb, 31, shared their happy baby news with fans via Facebook on Thursday, Jan. 31, when Cobb posted a photo of a T-shirt with a baby-sized Star Wars stormtrooper on the front.

"Looks like @donald_faison and I are going to have a little stormtrooper of our own!" Cobb captioned the shot. This will be the first child for Cobb and Faison's fifth; he has three children with ex-wife Lisa Askey and another son from a prior relationship.

The firstime mom has been handling the pregnancy "like a champ" so far, with the exception of a few problems with the baby's food preferences.

"Right now she's just trying to keep the food in, you know what I mean?" Faison said. "Like we had a spicy pizza the other day and she was like 'Uh, that's too spicy for the baby.' The baby didn't like that."

The couple wed at Faison's friend Zach Braff's home in California on Dec. 15 of last year after announcing their engagement in 2011. Being around Simpson and her fiance Eric Johnson, who welcomed baby Maxwell in May 2012, definitely put a little bit of pressure on Faison to start a family, he explained.

"We hang out with Jess and Eric a lot," he told Us. "And it just seems like a whole camp, everybody that's in that camp is either having a baby or had a baby, so there are kids everywhere. And, you know, I'm not going to say it's a lot of pressure on me as a man to get my wife pregnant or anything like that, but, you know, you want to be a part of the group!"
