FIRST PICTURE: Scarlett Johansson Works Out in NYC Post-Nate Naylor Split

One way to move on after a breakup? Focus on yourself for a little while.

Scarlett Johansson is doing just that in the days following her split from her boyfriend of about a year, Nate Naylor.

After a trip to her gym in NYC Wednesday, the Avengers actress, 27, grabbed Chinese takeout. Johansson, sporting mirrored Wayfarers, covered up most of her world-famous curves in an oversized black hoodie (though she did show off her toned legs in Nike running tights).

On Monday, a source close to the Hitchcock star confirmed her split from NYC-based ad executive Naylor, 38, to Us Weekly.

Johansson and Naylor were first spotted getting cozy together in February 2012; at the time, sources told Us they had already been dating about five months.

"They met through mutual friends," one insider revealed. "And they were hot and heavy right off the bat."

The Oscar-nominated beauty, used to romancing stars like Sean Penn and Ryan Reynolds (whom she divorced in 2010), discussed her relationship with the non-celebrity in Vogue's May issue.

"It must be very strange for him," she admitted. "It's totally bizarre . . . It's an adjustment -- I mean, it's got to be an adjustment for him way more than it was for me at nineteen. But he's remarkably good about it."
