George Clooney Takes Shot at Tequila Line

George Clooney is getting into the celebrity alcohol endorsement game with a new tequila line called Casamigos.

The Oscar winner is teaming up with Cindy Crawford's restaurateur hubby Rande Gerber for the brand, which they've reportedly been enjoying for years and whose name is inspired by the stars' homes in Mexico, according to Huffington Post.

"We know we have a product we love and we drink, and other people will enjoy. The product speaks for itself," Gerber told 213 Nightlife of the beverage, which is expected to be sold at "a reasonable price point."

Clooney is no stranger to pitching projects, with a range of international commercial endorsements in countries ranging from Norway to Japan.
