Grammy Awards 2013: Best-Dressed Stars of the Night

Here's what you need to know about the dresses worn to the Grammy Awards show at the Staples Center in Los Angeles Sunday night, Feb. 10: To our dismay and to CBS' delight, there were no nip slips, no exposed thongs, no buttock cracks in evidence.

Perhaps in sync with the network's call for modesty, many a star hit the red carpet wearing the color black. In fact, a whopping 7 out of the 11 celebs who made our list wore the sophisticated hue. Black gowns may sound like a snooze, but when worn with daring cutouts (as did the two Kellys on our list -- Rowland and Osbourne) or a seemingly missing panel (see Jennifer Lopez's exposed whole leg), they are anything but.
