The Hollywood Reporter -- NEW YORK -- Sutton Foster and Jesse Tyler Ferguson will host the nominations announcement for the 67th Annual Tony Awards, honoring the best of the 2012-13 Broadway season.
A two-time Tony winner for best actress in a musical (Thoroughly Modern Millie, Anything Goes), Foster stars in the ABC Family series Bunheads. Ferguson has been nominated for three Primetime Emmys for his role on ABC's Modern Family. He has appeared on Broadway in On the Town and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, and will return to the New York stage this summer in the Shakespeare in the Park production of The Comedy of Errors, starring opposite Hamish Linklater at the Delacorte Theater.
The Tony nominations announcement will take place at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center at 8:30AM EST on Tuesday, April 30. The event will air live on CBS This Morning, on local cable news network NY1, and in its entirety on www.TonyAwards.com.
The official eligibility cutoff for this year's awards is April 25, with 15 more shows scheduled to open on Broadway before that date. The Tony Awards will be broadcast live on CBS Sunday June 9 at 8 p.m. EST from Radio City Music Hall.
In other Tony news, the awards administration recently announced that Special Tony Awards for Lifetime Achievement in the Theatre will go this year to Bernard Gersten, executive producer of Lincoln Center Theater; veteran scenic designer Ming Cho Lee; and Paul Libin, executive vice president of Jujamcyn Theatres.
