She's toned down her look since her Dancing With the Stars days, but Julianne Hough still likes to flash a little bit of skin on the red carpet.

The dance pro, 23, turned actress wowed in a long-sleeved Donna Karan mini with see-through side panels at Us Weekly's 2012 Hot Hollywood bash, where she was honored for being "The Free Spirit" in Los Angeles Wednesday night. She paired the racy look with black and pink Giuseppe Zanotti heels.

Hough, who's been dating TV mogul Ryan Seacrest, 37, since spring 2010, is the first to admit to her previous fashion missteps.

"I was matchy-matchy, too glam and overly done," she tells Us of how she dressed early in her career. Now, she says, her look is "more natural -- feminine and flowy."
