Justin Bartha spent New Year's Day relaxing on a beach in Maui, Hawaii -- but he wasn't alone.

The New Normal actor, 34, spent the afternoon with a tanned, toned mystery woman.

Bartha and his female companion looked cool in a pair of matching shades. The actor went shirtless while she opted for a pair of peach shorts and colorful bikini top.

The Hangover star previously dated Ashley Olsen for two years before the pair split in March 2011.

His hit show, The New Normal, will return this season on Tuesday, Jan. 8 on NBC.
