Katy Perry Looks Unrecognizable in Orange Wig on L'Officiel Cover

Katy Perry is a master of disguise.

The 27-year-old "Wide Awake" singer covers the September issue of French fashion magazine L'Officiel. Photographer Cuneyt Akeroglu shot the singer wearing fiery a orange wig and an orange and black Louis Vuitton dress.

(Glee's Dianna Agron, 26, wore the same dress during Paris Fashion Week in March, and Gossip Girl's Leighton Meester, 26, was photographed wearing the frock in the July issue of Lucky.)

Perry -- whose previous hair colors include blue, blonde, purple and pink -- is currently rocking a jet black bob. "Katy is the ideal client because she loves to be creative and unpredictable with her look," Perry's colorist, Rita Hazan, told Us Weekly earlier this year.

The pop star and John Mayer, 34, recently split after a couple months of casual dating, multiple sources confirmed to Us. One insider claimed Perry is "really upset about it," while another said the singer "is making it seem like it wasn't serious with John, but she is hurt."

Perry's divorce from British comedian Russell Brand was finalized in mid-July. She briefly dated Florence + the Machine guitarist Robert Ackroyd in the spring of 2012.
