Kim Kardashian, Fiance Kris Humphries Are "Madly in Love"

Brittny Gastineau won't be a maid of honor at Kim Kardashian's wedding -- that honor will go to her sisters Khloe and Kourtney, naturally -- but the fellow E! reality star is overjoyed for her longtime pal's engagement.

"I'm beyond excited for her," Gastineau, 27, told Us Weekly at Wednesday night's Kimchi Chronicles launch at NYC's Spice Market.

Last week, Kardashian, 30, confirmed her engagement to Kris Humphries, her NBA beau of about six months. (The New Jersey Nets forward, 26, popped the question with a 20.5 carat ring from Lorraine Schwartz worth an approximate $1 million!)

Gastineau dished with her newly engaged gal-pal over dinner on Sunday, she told Us. "I can't believe that the time has come," Gastineau said. "I've known her for so many years, we've always talked about marriage and when the day was going to happen, and the fact that it's happening is crazy."

Wedding planning for the couple is "about to start," Gastineau added. (Sister Khloe, 26, said the bash would be "royal wedding number two.")

And for the skeptics, Gastineau gushes that Kardashian and her hubby-to-be are the real deal. "I can honestly say they are madly in love," she told Us. "Be brings the best out of her, and they just work together!"
