Well, it's about time! Kim Kardashian's guilty-pleasure pregnancy cravings are finally kicking in, the reality star revealed on Twitter on Wednesday, March 27. The mom-to-be had previously insisted that the only change in her diet had been a hankering for carrots and celery with ranch dressing.
"Damn!!! I spoke too soon! My 1st pregnancy craving! #InNOut #EnjoyingEveryBite," she wrote, sharing a photo of an burger and cheese fries on her Instagram.
The 32-year-old reality star and boyfriend Kanye West, 35, have been otherwise amping up to get ready for their bundle of joy, due in July, an experience that Kardashian calls "amazing."
"I'm not going to lie and be like, 'Oh, it's been amazing and I've adjusted great,'" the Temptation actress told Extra last week. "At the beginning it was tough for me when your body changes so much, but once you kind of grasp that and embrace it, it's amazing."
"I'm waiting for the moments when someone's like, 'Let's go to McDonald's and Taco Bell!'" she continued at the time. "That's not happening for me and I'm kind of sad about it."
Luckily for the reality star, however, she's taking all the criticism about her weight gain with a grain of salt.
"There are maybe two or three covers just this week that say I am 200 pounds," she said on Extra with a laugh. "I'm like, 'You are 60 pounds off here!' It wouldn't even bother me if I gained all the weight. And I have the biggest sweet tooth and I love junk food. Being pregnant I don't like any of it."
And in spite of craving some more indulgent foods, Kardashian is making sure to keep her diet balanced -- for the sake of the baby-to-be.
"I've been researching recipes and healthy eating tricks to make sure that I get the right nutrition now that I'm eating for two!" she wrote on her blog earlier this month. "For me it's about maintaining a well-balanced eating and fitness plan."
