As Rachel Berry on Fox's hit series Glee, Lea Michele plays it pretty safe when it comes to fashion. But in real life, the daring diva isn't afraid to put herself out there -- sometimes literally.

Walking the red carpet at the ELLE Women in Hollywood event in Beverly Hills October 15, Michele left little to the imagination in a sheer, striped, Zimmerman dress over a curve-hugging lace bodysuit. She finished the look with black, strappy heels, smoky eyes, and a pale, nude lip.

Asked why she had chosen the racy getup, the Glee star told reporters on the red carpet, "Because it's fierce!"

Indeed, the 26-year-old actress has never been one to shy away from fashion risks. As the spokesmodel for Candie's shoes, she regularly flaunts her figure in sky-high heels and flirty minis. And last year, she made headlines when she attended an event for the show American Horror Story wearing an ASOS lace top as a dress.
