When Lucy Hale and Colton Haynes arrived together at Mr. C Beverly Hills September 15, several partygoers wondered if the young stars had taken their friendship to a new level.

When Us Weekly spoke with Hale, 23, on the red carpet, the Pretty Little Liars star quickly debunked that she's dating the hunky Teen Wolf actor, 24.

"I've known him from my Privileged days, from The CW," Hale said at NYLON and Sony's September TV issue launch party. "I don't meet a lot of genuine people in my life and he's a special kind of person, and I try to surround myself with people like that. He's jut a friend here tonight. Although, I would be very lucky to have him on my arm! We're just friends."

After all, Hale is happily dating American Horror Story actor Chris Zylka, 27, whom she met at a New Year's Eve party this past year. Though Haynes is currently single, "He could have anyone!" Hale told Us. "He could have any young starlet. He's so beautiful. I mean, you see what he looks like!"
