The fashion competition was fierce at Sunday night's 2011 Teen Choice Awards, with a slew of A-listers like Cameron Diaz, Blake Lively and Zoe Saldana hitting the blue carpet. But one up-and-coming actress managed to steal the show from these more seasoned style stars.

Pretty Little Liars actress Lucy Hale turned heads when she arrived in an asymmetrical sparkly black and nude dress by Turkish designer Cengiz Abazoglu. And while the mini appeared to bare her entire back, it was actually covered in a sheer nude fabric.

The unique frock wasn't the only eye-catching part of Hale's look. She also wore gravity-defying black patent leather Giuseppe Zanotti heel-less platform shoes and a trendy ombre manicure.

The 22-year-old went home with the award for Choice Summer TV Star for her role as Aria Montgomery on the hit ABC Family series.
