Nick Jonas Playing a Deadbeat Dad on Last Man Standing
From promise rings to paternity!
Nick Jonas has a new role: deadbeat dad! The 19-year-old former Disney star has booked a guest appearance on ABC's Last Man Standing, TV Line reports.
Jonas will play Ryan, the absent father to Tim Allen's character's grandson on the show. According to TV Line, Ryan (Jonas) makes a surprise appearance in Last Man Standing's Christmas episode, and Mike (Allen) has to "suppress his inner-Scrooge" and attempt to forgive his daughter's ex for his past mistakes.
Jonas, who last guest starred on an episode of Matthew Perry's now-cancelled Mr. Sunshine, is also headed to the great white way in 2012. He'll follow in Daniel Radcliffe and Darren Criss' footsteps playing J. Pierrepont Finch in in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.
