Miley Cyrus received waves of criticism from fans when she chopped of her blonde locks into a drastic pixie cut on Sunday -- but Ellen DeGeneres was not one of them.

The 54-year-old comedienne wrote on her Facebook Tuesday, "I love Miley Cyrus' new haircut so much that I copied it."

The short-haired blonde shared a Photoshopped pic of herself sporting Cyrus' spunky new platinum blonde 'do with a big smile on her face.

Cyrus, 19, has been ignoring her critics, instead flaunting her new look on Twitter. "My dad Billy Ray Cyrus used to tell me 'opinions are are like a-- holes every body has one,'" the LOL actress shared on Monday. "Love my hair. Feel so happy, pretty and free."

And Liam Hemsworth's fiance also wrote Tuesday, "Self love is the greatest of all flatters."
