PIC: Pregnant Reese Witherspoon Works Out in Santa Monica

While she lets her heartbroken pal Robert Pattinson have the run of her Ojai, Calif. estate, Reese Witherspoon is working out closer to home.

The expectant actress, who will welcome baby no. 3 this fall with husband Jim Toth, donned workout clothes and pulled her hair back into a ponytail for a walk with pal in Santa Monica Monday.

Meanwhile, her friend, and Water for Elephants costar, is keeping a low-profile in the wake of girlfriend Kristen Stewart's cheating scandal, trying to make sense of it all at Witherspoon's $7 million Ojai ranch.

"He's a total mess," one insider told Us Weekly of Pattinson when the news first broke. "He's questioning everything."

On Saturday, Pattinson finally resurfaced at a country-western bar in Ojai, two eyewitnesses say. The Brit shared "a few drinks and laughs . . . He looked like a guy that was just trying to enjoy himself and get away," one of the witnesses tells Us.

Still, Pattinson can't stay hidden away in the sleepy resort town forever, as duty -- in the form of promotions for his new film, Cosmopolis -- calls.

Next week, the Twilight hunk, 26, will hit the red carpet for two events in NYC, as well as tape a live TV interview on Good Morning America, a rep for the film confirms to Us.
