PIC: Skinny Sarah Palin Wears Off-the-Shoulder Shirt in Los Angeles

Sarah Palin is trying out a hip new look!

The 48-year-old former Governor of Alaska and mother of five stepped out in Studio City, Calif. on Sunday to do a little shopping with daughter Willow.

Sarah showed off her skinny frame in a revealing off-the-shoulder cropped top and tight, dark jeans. The busy mom carried groceries in high yellow wedges and stylish shades.

Her daughter, Bristol, 21, told Us Weekly last week that her mom is "way hotter" than actress Julianne Moore.

"I don't think she's a good interpreter of my mom. I think my mom's way hotter than that," the Dancing With the Stars: All-Stars contestant told Us of Moore, 51, who impersonated Sarah in the HBO movie Game Change.

"She doesn't have that accent. It's all kind of silly," Bristol added. "My mom's awesome."
