After seven years of marriage, Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck know how to do date night right!

The parents to daughters Violet, 6, Seraphina 3, and son Samuel, 8 months, enjoyed a quiet night out without their children by attending a fundraiser event at Spago restaurant in Beverly Hills Thursday.

The actor and actress, both 40, dressed up for the occasion, with Affleck wearing a navy suit and his wife showing off her legs in a sexy little black dress.

But their children probably weren't far from their minds! The event helped raise money for children's causes, Just Jared reports.

Garner had a big smile on her face during the adult-only evening. The actress admitted to Conan O'Brien in October that having a third child put her "right over the edge." In September, the busy mom told Ellen DeGeneres that she "plans to be done" having children, but her husband is "a wonder sperm kind of guy."

And Affleck is hoping for baby No. 4!

"The fact that Ben wants another is true . . . " Garner told Extra in August. "I can tell you that would be a pretty uphill battle with me . . . I am not anticipating having any more kids!"
