Mama Drew's first fancy night out!

Welcoming daughter Olive just one month ago, new parents Drew Barrymore and her husband Will Kopelman enjoyed some alone time Oct. 27 during a date night at LACMA's Art + Film Gala, stepping out for their first official post-baby outing.

Clad in a long, loose black dress and purple wedge heels, Barrymore, 37, made a beeline for fellow party guest Jennifer Aniston once inside the event at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.

"Drew ran over to Jen and gave her a hug, it seemed like they had some catching up to do," a partygoer told Us Weekly of the pair, who later happily posed for photos with their significant others. "Drew had a huge smile on her face and looked so happy to be out and about."

Saturday's soiree marked Barrymore's first official outing since giving birth to her daughter on Sept. 26. The proud new mom -- who wed art consultant Kopelman in June -- kept her birth a secret until Oct. 1, when announcing their baby joy to the world.

"We are proud to announce the birth of our daughter, Olive Barrymore Kopelman, born Sept. 26, healthy, happy and welcomed by the whole family," the couple told Us Weekly in a statement at the time.
