Despite a rough couple of weeks, Halle Berry was all smiles on Tuesday, Dec. 4.

For the first time after reaching an agreement in her bitter custody battle with ex Gabriel Aubry, the Cloud Atlas actress, 46, stepped out for the first time with their daughter Nahla, 4, in Beverly Hills.

Berry, who was casually dressed in a gray poncho and cap, greeted photographers with a wave while she dropped her daughter off at school. Nahla also had a big smile on her face as she showed off her pink princess sunglasses.

On Nov. 29, Berry's attorney, Blair Berk, told E! News the actress had "reached an amicable agreement" over the care of their child. The settlement came just one week after Aubry was hospitalized and arrested following a fight with Berry's finance, French actor Olivier Martinez, at the actress' home on Thanksgiving.

"All [Halle] wants is a normal family life," a source told Us of the Oscar-winning actress.
