Pippa Middleton, whose toned backside became world-famous on her sister Kate's royal wedding day April 29, lost a "Rear of the Year" Award in her native England -- to a 50-year-old TV presenter named Carol Vorderman.
Awards organizer Tony Edwards explained to the Express newspaper that Middleton, 27, had a mere six weeks to garner votes, while Vorderman, who hosted popular British show Countdown, has been enjoying votes for an entire year.
"The bottom line, if you want to use that expression, is that if you Google Carol Vorderman's bottom and stand back, there is a mass of websites dedicated to her rear assets," Edwards quipped.
The Duchess of Cambridge's little sis was undeterred by that loss -- and as radiant as usual -- when she met her parents Michael and Carole Middleton on Tuesday night at the Goring Hotel, where the family stayed during the April wedding festivities.
This time, the socialite and entrepreneur wore a patterned dress by French label Maje, cinched with a beige belt and accessorized with nude L.K. Bennett court shoes.
