Real Housewives' Melissa Gorga: I Was Never a Stripper

Melissa Gorga's bubbies never brought in the big bucks.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey star addressed Internet rumors that she was previously employed as a stripper. "[There's an] accusation that I was once a dancer at a strip club. This is 100 percent NOT TRUE," she blogged Friday.

"I did bartend for a few weeks at a bikini bar while I was in college," Teresa Giudice's sister-in-law explained. "My outfit was a tank top, shorts and sneakers. SORRY, no bubbies there."

So why is Gorga acknowledging the untrue rumors about her past? "Someone desperately wants to knock me down and prove that I have something to hide," she said. "I have been happily married to my husband for 7 years and we have three beautiful children. Even if I had been a dancer, I do not know why anyone would care 10 years later."

Gorga's former manager at Lookers Gentleman's Club in Elizabeth, NJ insisted to Us Weekly that the reports of the reality star's past were grossly exaggerated. "She was a bartender for a couple of months years ago," Larry Guarino told Us. "Lookers was really upscale then too; it wasn't like she was bartending in some hole in the wall."
