Reese Witherspoon Celebrates 37th Birthday on Romantic Mexican Getaway With Husband Jim Toth

No shoes, no kids, no problems! Reese Witherspoon took a break from her busy life as a working mom-of-three to enjoy a romantic birthday getaway with husband Jim Toth. The actress, who turned 37 on March 22, spent her special day in Cabo San Lucas, where Toth treated her to some much-needed R&R.

A source tells Us Weekly that the couple started the morning by the private pool outside their room. Afterward, they ventured out to the main pool at the resort to have lunch. When they finished, an onlooker says, they walked hand-in-hand around the hotel, taking in the sights.

"They talked a lot, and Reese was always smiling," the eyewitness says. "She seemed to be enjoying the day."

Before sunset, the Devil's Knot star pampered herself with a visit to the spa. While she was gone, her CAA agent husband arranged to have a surprise dinner prepared; it was waiting for her when she returned.

"It was a romantic setting," an insider says. "She seemed thrilled."
