The black-and-white ad, which will premiere during the second quarter, is described as a "visual ode" to the hunky L.A. Galaxy soccer star with "close-ups and 360- degree angles" set to the song "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood" by The Animals.
"I'm excited about my bodywear ad featuring in this year's Super Bowl," the 36-year-old father to sons Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz and daughter Harper Seven said in a statement Monday.
"My design team and I spent 18 months developing the collection, it's been a fantastic collaborative experience, and I'm very happy with the end result. Like every fan, I'm looking forward to Super Bowl Sunday."
As previously announced, Madonna will headline the Bridgetone Super Bowl XLVI Halftime Show, while American Idol winner Kelly Clarkson was just confirmed to sing the national anthem at the Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana. Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert will perform "America the Beautiful" during the pre-game festivities.
