Taylor Lautner: From Child Star to Action Hunk!

Taylor Lautner is all grown up!

The 19-year-old Breaking Dawn star was first known to many as Sharkboy in the 2005 flick The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl 3-D. But since his role in the kids' action film, Lautner has evolved into a teen heartthrob and bona fide action hero.

For his role in the second Twilight film, New Moon, Lautner packed on 30 pounds of muscle to play the role of Jacob. He told Us Weekly all the attention on his body was a bit "uncomfortable."

So how did he prepare for his countless shirtless scenes? "Eating, working out," he told Us. "A lot of stuff."

Besides vying for Bella's heart in the Twilight saga films, he also starred in the 2011 thriller Abduction. He dated costar Lily Collins, but the duo split just one week before the film's September premiere.

"You can feel some sort of chemistry or a connection when you are reading a script with someone for the first time," Lautner told Seventeen magazine prior to their split. "And that was totally the case with Lily."

Lautner's most famous ex is perhaps Taylor Swift, his Valentine's Day costar, whom he dated for three months in late 2009.
