Taylor Swift hit Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in NYC on Tuesday wearing a demure, vintage-inspired dress that made her look more like a runway model than a pop superstar.

The ivory Rodarte design featured a calf-length crocheted skirt and a long-sleeved lace top -- a rather warm choice for the 82-degree temps in the Big Apple -- but perfect for the front row at the label’s buzz-worthy show, where Swift sat next to Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour.

The 21-year-old country singer stood out with boldly lined eyes and a bright red lipstick, which she complemented with side-parted bangs and face-framing tendrils.
