'The Bachelorette''s Chris Harrison confirms to ETonline that Ali Fedotowsky and Roberto Martinez are still planning a trip down the aisle.
"They are still very much planning a wedding," says the host of this season's "The Bachelor." "The date, if it is set, I will let them break to you. I would be a horrible person if I broke someone else's wedding news."
Chris says that he would love to see Ali and Roberto's wedding on TV, but since he is not the one who pays the bills, it is not up to him.
"Selfishly, I would love showing that," he says. "I think people like to see the whole circle being completed and these love lives continue to play out. Like seeing Jason and Molly and how that came to be and then having the wedding. And for Ali and Roberto … we saw them fall in love. We would love to see them continue and get married on TV. I think it is the natural progression and our fans are going to demand it."
As for why he thinks that Ali and Roberto's relationship has survived so far, Chris says, "I think they have followed the formula of our successful couples: Get out of Hollywood and, for the most part, get out of the limelight. I think they have let the fame and all this enhance their lives. They have gone to events and all that, but they are living in San Diego. Jason and Molly are living up in Seattle and Ryan and Trista in Vail, CO. They have gotten away from it and they are living their lives."
The new season of "The Bachelor" continues Monday night at 8 p.m. on ABC.
