NEW YORK (AP) -- The play "Time Stands Still" will extend its Broadway run for an extra week.
Producers said Wednesday the current cast that includes Laura Linney, Brian d'Arcy James, Eric Bogosian and Christina Ricci will stay in their roles for eight more performances until Jan. 30 at the Court Theatre on 48th Street.
The play, exploring the private lives of a photojournalist and a foreign correspondent following their return home, debuted last year off-Broadway and made the jump to Broadway on Oct. 7 after a hiatus.
The cast has mostly stayed intact, with the exception of Ricci stepping in for Alicia Silverstone.
Another New York play is also extending its run: The Signature Theatre Company's off-Broadway revival of Tony Kushner's "Angels in America" is adding five more weeks through March 27.
