Us' Programming Guide: What to Watch This Spring

USMagazine, Tuesday, April 12, 2011, 6:29am (PDT)

Miss The Real Housewives of New Jersey? Can't wait for more Keeping Up With the Kardashians? Some of this season's hottest new shows share DNA with many currently off-air fan favorites. As you outline your spring TV viewing schedule, check out UsMagazine.com's guide to what to watch in terms of reality TV.

IF YOU LIKE KEEPING UP WITH THE KARDASHIANS…THEN WATCH AUDRINAFormer Hills star Audrina Patridge, 25, takes center stage with her eponymous VH1 series. "This is Audrina 360. You are inside her life as it unfolds," executive producer Jeff Olde tells Us of the reality show. Like E!'s Kardashians, lively family members -- including her mom Lynn -- serve as costars. "Everyone lets their guard down," Olde says. Adds Patridge: "People are going to relate. We're raw and real." (Premieres April 17, 9 p.m.)

IF YOU LIKE HUNG…THEN WATCH GIGOLOSShowtime's sexually explicit Thursday night reality show one-ups HBO's male-prostitute drama by profiling five actual Las Vegas escorts. "The gigolo world is exciting but emotionally taxing," executive producer Jay Blumenfield tells Us. In one episode, easygoing Jimmy broods over revealing his career to visiting pals. (Airs Thursdays at 11 p.m.)

IF YOU LIKE THE REAL HOUSEWIVES OF NEW JERSEY…THEN WATCH MOB WIVESTable-flipping times 10! On VH1's new Sunday night series, four allegedly mob-connected New York City frenemies are at one another's throats -- literally. Mob Wives "gives a glimpse into a world America has been fascinated by for decades," executive producer Jennifer Graziano explains. A must-see highlight: January's biggest-ever FBI mob sweep. (Premieres April 17 at 8 p.m.)

IF YOU LIKE AMERICAN IDOL…THEN WATCH THE VOICELike Idol, NBC's Tuesday night singing competition has starry-eyed hopefuls, a voting audience and big names (such as Christina Aguilera) doling out advice. Instead of judging, the stars -- including Blake Shelton, Adam Levine and Cee Lo Green -- mentor the contestants. "We want to make them shine!" Aguilera enthuses. (Premieres April 26 at 9 p.m.)
