NEW YORK (AP) -- Now living scattered across the country, three men released nearly two decades after they were convicted of killing three Arkansas Cub Scouts are back together in New York for a movie screening about their case.

Damien Echols, Jason Baldwin and Jesse Misskelley attended a screening of the film "Paradise Lost 3: Purgatory" at HBO on Monday, and it was later to be shown at the New York Film Festival. They needed a judge's ruling to appear together.

The men, known as the "West Memphis Three," were freed in August after their convictions in the 1993 murders were set aside. They pleaded guilty to lesser charges but maintain their innocence.

Echols has been staying in New York, Baldwin works on a construction crew in Seattle and Misskelley is back in West Memphis.
