Will Adele Land a Vogue Cover in 2012?

Rumor has it!

She's already graced the covers of Cosmopolitan, British Vogue and The Gentlewoman this year, and there's a good chance Adele will add Vogue to the list in 2012.

According to WWD, several designers have been asked by the fashion mag to make special cover outfits in a size U.S. 14 for the curvy Brit for the March issue.

Last week the 23-year-old star stepped outside her London home for the first time after her throat surgery in late November.

The "Turning Tables" singer looked happy and well-rested -- and perhaps a bit slimmer -- as she greeted a pal and carried along her adorable dachshund in a bag.

The Grammy nominee is expected to "make a full recovery" from the procedure at the Massachussetts General Hospital's Voice Center, in which laser microsurgery helped repair damaged vocal chords and recurrent bleeding from a benign polyp.
