Celebrity Cameos in "Sex and the City 2"

By Melissa Hunter
Penelope Cruz is the latest celebrity to hop on the cameo wagon for the sequel to "Sex and the City," thus bringing the grand total of celeb cameos to roughly one million. All right, maybe just five, but still, this is getting crazy! So what other A-listers are they using to pad the sequel? Click through to find out.

Miley Cyrus has a role in the new movie, which makes sense since she was a huge fan of the show when she watched it in preschool. She was seen filming in matching dresses with Kim Cattrall on a red carpet recently. You know, just in case we all needed clarification that Miley is a Samantha. Don't worry, we got it, Miley.

"Project Runway" star and everyone's dream gay boyfriend Tim Gunn also has a cameo in the film. Sarah Jessica Parker once guest judged on "Runway," so he knew he would have to repay that favor eventually. SJP's basically the fashion world's Mafia godmother.

Beyonce was rumored to be in the sequel, but *sigh* it was only a rumor. She will, however, be there in song as a, um, quite different performer will be singing "All the Single Ladies." I don't think it would've been possible to omit the single-women-wanting-to-get-married anthem from the film.

Liza Minnelli will be the one covering Beyonce's song in the movie. Makes sense, as Minnelli is the obvious second choice when Bey is too busy.
*SPOILER* Liza will be performing at the wedding reception of once enemies and now true loves Stanford Blatch and Anthony Marantino (Carrie and Charlotte's gay BFFs respectively). So does this mean that in the "SATC" version of New York, gay marriage has been legalized and Minnelli performs at every ceremony? One can only hope.

Victoria Beckham has been rumored to have a small role in the sequel. She had to turn down a role in the first one because she was pregnant or because she was on a Spice Girls tour or because she has no acting ability whatsoever. But in any case, she may be making an appearance in the latest installment. As you can see here, she seems to be alluding to some sort of facial expression, so it looks like she's workin' hard! Best of luck, Vicky!
