Kate Hudson recently joked to Elle UK that "all men want is sex and for you to make them a sandwich."
And while nookie and noshing are always good bets with the opposite sex (along with complimenting the centaur-riffic portraits hanging over their beds), does she have another method for cementing her place in boyfriend Alex Rodriguez's heart?

So claims the Chicago Sun-Times, which says the actress-turned-New York Yankees good luck charm "has learned anything and everything she can about Major League Baseball."
The person said to be providing her with a base-running education: stepdad Kurt Russell, who has frequently been spotted with Hudson in the stands cheering on A-Rod.
"Kate is very smart. She knows that all good relationships are built on more than sex. Eventually, you have to talk," chuckles a source. "And Kate realizes that a key to keeping Alex is to be well-informed about his career and baseball in general -- his first main love."

Still, he's apparently hitting plenty of home runs off the field, too.
An over-informed Us Weekly says that Hudson and Rodriguez not only "love having sex," but also claims the actress has a cute little coded phrase if the phone rings while they're in flagrante delicto: "We're having nap time."
No word on whether the World Series or whoopee was the main topic of conversation when the twosome was snapped dining with a pal at a Manhattan eatery on Tuesday.
