Michael Jackson Death Ruled Homicide, Cause of Death Announced

The Los Angeles County Coroner has announced the cause of death for Michael Jackson and revealed that his death was ruled a homicide.

The announcement indicates that the King of Pop died of "acute Propofol intoxication" and "other conditions contributing to death: Benzodiazepine effect." Benzodiazepine is a sedative-hypnotic.

"The drugs Propofol and Lorazepam were found to be the primary drugs responsible for Mr. Jackson's death. Other drugs detected were: Midazolam, Diazepam, Lidocaine and Ephedrine," the announcement goes on to state.

Jackson passed away on June 25 at age 50 after he was found unresponsive in his bedroom.
