"Sex and the City" aside, one of our favorite phases of Sarah Jessica Parker's career is that wild-haired, flitty, early-'90s "L.A. Story" gal. Well, Elle recreates the magic in a feature story from its December issue, stuffing her tootsies into a pair of Doc Martens and teasing those locks out to our nostalgic heart's desire. Hard to believe our beloved SJP now has three kids!

On her choice of using a surrogate vs. the adoption route:
“I knew there would be lots of opinions about, ‘Well, why didn’t you adopt? Why didn’t you do this? Why didn’t you do that?’ and the truth of the matter is, it wasn’t one or the other for us. We had explored, and continue to explore all options, and this one just happened first. This isn’t the period at the end of the sentence.â€

Some people love the smell of baby powder, but SJP is way more authentic:
“I love the smell of diapers; I even like when they’re wet and you smell them all warm liked a baked good. I love the smell of Balmex. Love it.â€
