Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt may be raising their tykes in the lap of luxury, where private jets, French chateaus and trips to far-flung foreign lands come standard, but at least they dress them like normal kids.

On Monday afternoon, the sylphlike, do-gooder actress did some retail damage at a Gap outpost in Santa Monica, Calif., with 3-year-old daughter Shiloh in tow, says Radar Online.
Her mission: to shop the sartorial offerings from Stella McCartney's new kiddie-targeted collection.
The retail excursion apparently went undetected by the paparazzi, although a bodyguard trailed along with Jolie, who was kitted out in her de rigueur uniform of an all-black ensemble and sunglasses.

"Angelina was unrecognizable at first because she's so, so skinny," relays a store spy. "She purchased two complete outfits right off the mannequins, head to toe, the shoes and everything. Then she bought a couple Junk Food t-shirts, [including one with] a Superman emblem, and a bunch of Gap watches for all the kids."
The estimated cost of the shopping spree: a thrifty (by megastar standards) $500.
And despite Winona Ryder's recent sour grape-flavored assertion that Jolie didn't show enough gratitude for supposedly helping her land her Oscar-winning role in "Girl, Interrupted," she was gracious when a couple of fans figured out there was an A-lister browsing among the reasonably priced racks of clothing.

"Angelina was super-friendly and sweet," says the eyewitness, "and even signed autographs for two customers waiting in line."
The Gap trip came two days after the Jolie-Pitt clan (sans 1-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox) donned costumes and trick-or-treated around a Los Angeles neighborhood.
Brad seemingly earned major points with his tots by dressing up as DJ Lance Rock from "Yo Gabba Gabba," an outfit choice that has already scored the family an invite to the hip (and trippy) Nickelodeon show.

"If he, Angelina and the kids want to come hang out in Gabba land, they're welcome anytime!" DJ Lance tells Us.
Unfortunately, it looks like part of Pitt's costume wasn't just for candy collecting, namely, the beads he was wearing in his straggly, unsavory and reportedly role-required beard.
He still had the decorative accents in his chin pelt when he landed in Tokyo on Tuesday to stump for "Inglourious Basterds." Click through the photos at left to check out just how effectively Brad's hirsute accoutrements cancel out his hotness.
