British comedian Russell Brand is facing an investigation by police after allegedly attacking a group of paparazzi at Los Angeles International Airport on Friday, according to USMagazine.com

The "Get Him to the Greek" star was walking through airport security with his fiancee, Katy Perry, to catch an afternoon flight out of the city when he is said to have become enraged by the snappers and swung at them.

Cops arrived on the scene and were discussing whether to arrest Brand as WENN went to press.
A representative for the star has yet to comment on the reports.
