The Oscar winner was handed the Troops Choice Award for Entertainer of The Year, voted on by members of the military. Her appearance at Spike TV's annual ceremony was the first time she's stepped out professionally since her marriage split in March.
Bullock made reference to her personal problems during her acceptance speech, but predominantly paid tribute to U.S. troops for their service.

She told the audience, "Let's be honest here, just for a moment. Did I win this for being entertainer of the year, or did I win this because of the spectacular I.E.D. (improvised explosive device) explosion that became my personal life?!
"It's okay. Because I would do it over again if it was to entertain our troops, and our extraordinary troops deserve something much more than some actress in a tight dress talking herself (sic)."
