Nicolas Cage moves forward in tax repayments

  • Nicolas Cage is one step closer to putting his financial problems behind him after reportedly paying off a $6 million tax bill.

    In 2009, the actor was reported to have racked up a debt of around $14 million to the Internal Revenue Service for income taxes dating from 2002 to 2004 and 2007.

    However, Cage has now paid off a large chunk of the bill after handing over $6 million to tax officials, according to documents obtained by TMZ.
