Clint Eastwood Suing Furniture Company

• Clint Eastwood is heading for a legal showdown with a furniture company selling products branded "Clint" and "Eastwood."

  Eastwood is suing Evofurniture and the Inmod.com website for allegedly infringing on his rights by marketing a range of ottomans, chairs and entertainment centers named after him.

  In his complaint, the actor/director accuses the defendants of "continuing to use Mr. Eastwood's name, identity and persona for the purpose of attracting attention to the infringing products."

  He also cites marketing slogans which reference his biggest films, including, "When you're invited into a person's home, you get to see the good, the bad and the ugly. When visitors come to your home, the Clint 47'' [inch] Entertainment Center makes your family room alone look like you live in a perfect world of a million dollar baby."

  Eastwood is seeking unspecified damages as well as a permanent injunction against the use of his name and image, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
