Life is beautiful for Elsa Pataky. Not only is the 36-year-old Spanish actress married to hunky Chris Hemsworth, but she stars in one of the summer's most highly anticipated movies, "Fast & Furious 6." What really makes her light up, though, is when her daughter India Rose's name is mentioned.
"It's crazy to see her, just like how she does different things every day -- little steps," says Elsa, referring to the latest milestones in the life of her baby girl, who celebrated her first birthday on May 11. "Every day is different with learning or imitating everything that you do. ... It's beautiful following it."
Equally gorgeous is her commitment to staying in shape. Wonderwall caught up with Pataky, who showed off a toned figure in sparkly blue shorts and a sleeveless top, before the American premiere of "Fast & Furious 6," held on Tuesday night at Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, Calif., and she told us that fitness comes easy for her.
"I've always loved exercise," she admits. "I've been in shape since I was young. I love to go and do boxing, Muay Thai, horse riding, surfing. I always do exercise. … I do it for fun, not for work -- I enjoy it."
Speaking of work, Pataky says that she's excited for audiences to see the latest installment of the franchise, starring Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Paul Walker and Michelle Rodriguez, which opens on Friday. In the film, Pataky reprises her role as Elena Neves.
"We are a family already," she said. "We know each other, we make jokes and we enjoy working with each other, so its fun. One of the things that makes the franchise so successful is the good relationship between (the actors)."
One relationship she won't discuss? The one she has with brother-in-law Liam Hemsworth's fiance Miley Cyrus. "I don't talk about that. I'm so sorry!"
